The whole guesthouse is rented as one — regardless of group size, you have the place to yourselves.
On average 15,000–20,000 HUF per person, including the local tourist tax.
The guesthouse hosts 6+2 people (6 adults plus 2 — please ask about arrangements for small children). Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.
Earlier arrival or later departure is possible on request, subject to availability.
We only accept bookings by e-mail or via the online booking system. Your booking is finalized once 50% of the price is transferred within 5 days of the request. We send a confirmation e-mail and invoice afterwards.
Cancellations are only accepted in writing at info@balatoniest.hu. Up to 7 days before arrival: 100% of the deposit is refunded. Within 7 days of arrival: the full deposit is forfeited as a cancellation fee.
Free date changes up to 15 days before arrival, subject to availability. The amount you paid is credited towards the new dates and can be used within 3 months of your modification request.
50% deposit by bank transfer; the remainder on arrival in cash or by transfer. The local tourist tax is collected on site.

Balatoni Est Guesthouse is the ideal retreat for families and groups of friends on the shore of Lake Balaton. Our modern, comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room, and atmospheric attic rooms meet every need. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, board games, and a PlayStation 4 console. The large garden and direct terrace access offer plenty of fresh-air relaxation and grilling. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. Our goal is for guests to enjoy the magic of Balaton and leave with unforgettable memories.

Our spacious yet cozy attic room welcomes you with atmospheric lighting, a comfortable sofa, and warm decor. The window opens onto a stunning view of Lake Balaton, so the beauty of nature wakes you every morning.
Our bright living room awaits you with two sofas and a comfortable pull-out guest bed. Entertainment is covered by a 65-inch TV, board games, plenty of books, and a PlayStation 4 console. The living room opens directly onto the terrace so that relaxation and fresh air continue uninterrupted.
A modern kitchen equipped with everything you need: two large separate fridge-freezers, a dishwasher, and a built-in microwave and oven. There is a Nespresso coffee station, toaster, kettle, blender, and all the tools you need for baking and cooking. Balaton-themed decor gives the space its character.
Our light-toned bathroom features a spacious bathtub that’s ideal for a long, restorative soak, while the modern, practical fittings ensure maximum comfort. A WC is also located here.

We spent a week at the guesthouse and I have to say we were completely impressed. The place is simply beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the balcony, where we had coffee in the morning while enjoying the view of Lake Balaton. The garden is beautifully kept and the children loved the outdoor games. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, answering every question right away. Overall a fantastic experience — thank you for having us!
The guesthouse is modern and tastefully furnished, the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The family especially loved the board games in the living room. Careful planning and attention to small details was evident throughout the house. Whenever we could, we ate on the terrace with a view of Lake Balaton. Bring mosquito repellent — we forgot, but luckily there’s a DM nearby. Thank you for this wonderful experience, we recommend this place to everyone!
