Budatava Beach
The closest beach to the guesthouse: shady, peaceful and family-friendly, with a retro vibe and the famous Jóbarátok fish grill nearby.
Budatava Beach is on the eastern side of Balatonalmádi, on Lóczy tér — it's the closest beach to the Balatoni Est Guesthouse, a 5–8 minute walk away. A family-friendly, shaded and well-kept beach, with large trees and a gently sloping shoreline (ideal for small children). There's a playground, beach volleyball, table tennis, pedalo rental, a bike rack and free parking.
One of its biggest strengths is the atmosphere: a retro theme with old posters and objects evoking the 1980s, making it quieter and cosier than the larger central beaches. Right by the water, the Jóbarátok fish grill is your best quick lunch (we recommend it separately as well). In 2025 it's open roughly from 6 June to 31 August, 8:30–19:00, with gates open until 22:00.
