The Plage is the private sandy beach of the Hunguest BÁL Resort, right next to the hotel and reached via a small bridge. The hotel reopened in 2022 after a complete refurbishment, and the beach has been fully refreshed too: sandy shore, the Aqua Beach Bar, sun loungers and a beach volleyball court. Hotel guests get free loungers and can charge food and drinks to their room.
If you're not staying at the BÁL Resort, you can still enjoy the beach with a day ticket or a lounge/VIP pass — check the hotel's website for current prices. From the Balatoni Est Guesthouse it is about 2 km to the west: 25 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by bike or 5 minutes by car. A great choice if you're after a polished beach club feel and don't mind paying for the upgrade.
