Bab Café
Almádi's most serious speciality café, roasting their own beans and pulling shots on a Dalla Corte machine — perfect for breakfast or a coffee break.
Bab Café has been operating in the centre of Balatonalmádi, at Baross Gábor út 5–7, since 2018. It's the only proper speciality coffee shop in town: they freshly roast their beans on site to their own recipe, pull shots on a Dalla Corte Evo2 espresso machine and also offer alternative brewing methods (pour-over, AeroPress). Modern Scandinavian-style interior, a pleasant terrace, plus pastries and sandwiches.
Weekends often feature events — tastings, live music evenings, wine nights. You can also take the roasted beans home. From the Balatoni Est Guesthouse it is about a 15-minute walk or 3–4 minutes by car. If you're after a morning coffee, a laptop-friendly spot or simply a truly well-made flat white, this is your place — easily the best coffee in the area.
